Mark & Barbara Soltow, Owners
Tendercare Learning Center, Inc. has been providing quality child care since 2007 under the ownership of the Soltow family. We offer child care for ages 6 weeks through fifth grade which includes curriculum based programming opportunities. We also offer many optional programs that enhance your family's experience with us such as character breakfasts, community need based drives, fundraising activties, and more.
We operate Monday - Friday from 7am - 6pm and are only closed major holidays or for severe weather events. Our campus of care provides specialized age-appropriate classrooms housed in two buildings with a generous parking lot. Each building has it's own playground and amenities, all under a monitored video surveillance system.

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing facility where children can develop physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Each child will be treated as an individual and encouraged to do their best.
Our educational philosophy is simple: provide children with a safe, nurturing environment to instill a love of learning and a love of self and a love for others. Our goals are to:
• foster the development of positive self-esteem, self-concept and social skills
• promote the development of cognitive, creative, motor and communication skills
• instill a sense of independence, self-reliance, and self-discipline
• promote the development of acceptance and appreciation for diversity
• promote a respect for others
These goals are accomplished through a combination of hands-on activities, both teacher-directed and child-initiated. Each student is a unique individual and it is important that all students are observed individually in order to respond to their specific needs and to provide appropriately challenging activities. Children who require extra attention are offered opportunities for one-on-one or small group reinforcement of our curriculum in addition to referral programs such as partnering with outside agencies like Project ACT and Child Find. Tendercare prides itself on providing students with the skills needed to enter any school system, public or private, and have the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
